Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your EqualSplit account and associated data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: In the app

Open the app → Settings → Delete Account → Confirm. Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2: Without the app

To request the deletion of your account and associated data, please click the button below to email our support team. We will process your request within 7-14 business days.

What Gets Deleted

• Your registered phone number and email address
• Your uploaded contacts data used for friend-matching
• Your profile information

What May Be Retained

• Expense and settlement records shared with other users (e.g., group expenses) may be retained for the other members' transaction history, but your personal identifiers will be removed or anonymized from these records.
• Any data we are required to retain to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Processing Time

Deletion requests submitted in-app are processed immediately. Requests submitted via the form are processed within 15 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
